Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Spencer spent over 20 years in the CISO seat at some of the world’s largest technology and consumer businesses: as Group Chief Security Officer at Booking Holdings and Booking.com, Global CISO at McKesson, Global CIO and CISO at Amgen Biotechnology, and CISO at Electronic Arts. Along the way he built and led global security, fraud, and risk programmes spanning hundreds of security professionals across multiple brands, geographies, and regulatory environments.

Before moving into corporate security, Spencer served for fourteen years as a detective in the Metropolitan Police’s serious, organised crime unit, a background that still shapes how he assesses risk today: evidence first, instinct tested, decisions made under pressure and tight timelines.

In 2024, Spencer and Katarina Mott founded KASP Solutions to close a gap they saw repeatedly from inside the CISO seat: organisations needing practical, pragmatic security expertise from people who have actually carried the risk (not theory, not a sales pitch), delivered at a price that reflects genuine value. KASP connects proven, senior security practitioners with clients who want outcomes, not overhead.
