A first step is a broad-brush education of the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence with a focus on LLM and Generative AI models. It’s important that not only software engineers (‘builders’) but the entire security team has the same baseline understanding of the transformational power of this technology and importantly, how best to invent with and apply it to solve problems.
Once the team has a better understanding of the technology, then we can deliver a process to identify and hone in on a small number of use cases based on their feasibility and return on investment. Typically, this will be done via a discovery process culminating in a hackathon event whereupon solutions will be wire-framed and then presented to a selection committee.
With home grown solutions and indeed, ones purchased as existing software solutions, deployment, integration and operating the solution is key. Many great ideas die after the prior stage because teams can’t carve out time to build and run. We can provide help with the entire process or just specific parts.
